ha ha ha ha ha ha

I do get the feeling something will happen in the next 12 months maybe, if as is RUMOURED Bills health is not the best.

However, i just can't see it being a Russian takeover, can't see the board agreeing a sale to some moody oil baron.

I'd guess it'll be a US or Asian takeover.

So a mega rich Russian is taking us over soon. Don't know how to feel about this. I hope it doesn't end up compromising the club's values.

Was it that pink taxi? Drivers name was Mark if I recall right..

Think you'll find it's Barbara, these days...

I just thought this might be an opportunity to highlight the fact that Everton were using their financial muscle to outperform their rivals long before Chelsea and City started doing so. Everton were the highest spenders in the league as recently as the 1980's, long after we were winning trophies with Moore's millions. Everton have never been some quaint little club that is afraid to make use of its financial resources in order to have an advantage over their rivals.

Mersey millionaires. Apparently spending money on top players and winning things is not the Everton way anymore according to some. It's about losing heroically on boss away trips and always being a boss blue.

Even as late as the early 90s we could go out and get the likes of Tony Cottee who everyone wanted. I'd welcome any owners who had the ambition to get us back to that level. You only have to look at City, Chelsea, why are they anymore worthy than us?
