Higher ticket prices are almost a given to move or re-develop stadium and for it to be economically viable. Vault me and you'll see the figures I came up with.

Will do. Always the assumption I made for it to be viable. Ticket price rises and staying the same is much less appealing.

You are assuming this to be a leveraged buy out, but what is the evidence for that?

They're paying the asking price. Slightly more seriously, I'll put a tenner in the Alder Hey box next time I'm in there if it isn't. We'd both agree it's the most likely option, I'm sure?

By crippling long term debt, I assume that you are talking about AIB/Prudential trustees mortgage on gate receipts?

Yup.

My understanding is that the JG Funding loan cannot exceed a certain amount as due to EPL rules debt to other clubs takes priority so enough must be left in the pot to pay deferred transfer fees. I will stand corrected though.

Is correct. Football creditors first, as long as taxman is kept happy.

Where is this high interest loan to a former owner in the accounts, and which former owner are you talking about?

Johnson era hand to mouth.

Taking any money out of the club has to be done with FFP taken into account.

Correct. But irrelevant as club's costs can be tailored to meet.

Until any of the detail is made public really can't make assumptions.

Cayman Islands vehicle for high interest bearing loans, interest payments return the same way. Call it divine inspiration.

I don't think we'll see free tickets anytime soon, but gate revenue is increasingly minuscule relative to other revenues. The only reason to raise ST prices is to reduce ST sales and keep seats open for day trippers (like me, honestly), who are more likely to buy food and other items directly from the club.
Said the same thing a while ago in essence - reduce the number of ST available and get the "day- trippers" in. Don't think I got any likes on that one!!!
The reason for looking at it is that you would expect the ground to at least break even in both profit and cashflow terms, so bums on seats is an integral part of that, as but more so hospitality and alternative usage, otherwise there's no point in doing it.

Arent these loans also really long term? Meaning there were penalties if we paid back early?

Cheers mate.
Loans in 2015 accounts run to about 39.8mil, 19mil VIBRAC and 20.8 mil AIB/Prudential trustees.
Double checked and there is nothing to suggest a loan from Phillip Green in the accounts, no charge against club assets etc.
I really should get out more!

No where near the worst division in baseball.

The AL west is a poor division with the A's Angels Astro's Mariner's and Ranger's,NL west is far superior as i mentioned before the Giants have won 3 world series in 6 years and the Dodger's on paper with the biggest budget have the best roster in baseball no doubt.

This is absolutely false.

The Padres are definitely the worst team in the division though.

The NL West is garbage, though not the worst. I conceded my argument already... besides it's baseball...

Have the financial experts decided if this is a good deal or not yet?

A "Football Finance Expert" on TS today reckoned it was a good deal for the board, and also potentially a good one for the investors. Missed the real detail mind, but he did mention our loans and debt repayments, and also used some words that @The Esk uses, so seemed to be cleverer than me.

H&J thought the price was cheap mind.

I've managed to learn less than before I read this. Ta Ray.
