People ARE NOT seeing the bigger picture here, this isn't anything to do with the money spent in this transfer window, or the previous results from our games... This is about the board of directors who run the club, and their lack of investment into Everton Football Club over the past 16 years, their failed plans in regards to business models, new stadium upgrades/builds, general marketing of the club / Everton brand.

They have demonstrated no forward thinking attitude & have in no way shown that they plan to move the club forward. The club is going stale and this has to stop, so via this campaign more awareness of this issue is being raised.

How do you know that? Just because we won, and with style, doesn't mean they weren't affected by it. We're playing City, and at home, where the tactics may not be the same. Save for the away games if at all.

To be honest mate i think the players will be more effected by crowd abuse soon as a pass goes west or if City go one up, the plane will be the last thing for them to worry about

People seen the tweets by this @WatchedToffee on twitter? Pretty interesting read.

I can't believe this thread is so quiet following his revelations.

For those who are against a change, his tweets really must open there eyes as to what really is going on.

I wouldn't say they're revelations, the info has been available before and published in dribs and drabs. They do underline though that right from the very off 15 years ago Kenwright and his cohorts were determined to sweat Everton itself in order to create the continuing conditions for their own ownership to remain in place.

They've been spinning plates whilst periodically trying to cajole the public and private sector to fund a stadium for them. That's the old strategy, btw. They dont need that so much now because they can hang on for a while longer given that the massive tv deal is in place and getting bigger each renewal. It'll allow the conditions (they hope) to finally unearth new owners prepared to meet their astronomical valuation (relative to their investment - which is zero). All they require is a team that stays reasonably safe in the table each season.

We're basically in a secular version of purgatory. Neither damned nor in a place we want to be. For the foreseeable.

How can anyone believe that this board is suitable for us? 16 years and absolutely no investment? We don't even own our training ground as we rent it off the council!! Its a shambles all of it and it stinks of 16 year old bullturd
