Its my opinion that over the last couple of weeks which has seen the farce that is Aston Villa and its owner Randy Learner's handling of getting a new manager has taken or deflected what could be tricky time for our board.
Kenwright must have been rubbing his hands together with joy,did he issue a hands off when Moyes was linked with the villa job? No, the silence was deafening from the theatre lovey! Has he give any up dates on his 24/7 search for investment? No!
Does he treat Evertonians like mugs when it comes to selling season tickets? I know my own answer to that!

I agree broadly Trigg' , of course , Mate , but know what ??? I think its reversed tbh .

Moyles NOW HAS to be given a Bob or Two otherwise , next time they come calling , an' they will , about Xmas time , he needs to at least have had a little go .

Hes earned that much . Villa said so .

We shall see , as ever ,...

Season ticket sales down, all of a sudden were linked with nzogbia in the shoit echo! Its pure kenwright b/s and no i dont buy anything kenwright says!

So you know for a FACT that season ticket sales are down? If so, the North West are not immune from cuts.

I think it shows in sharp relief the relative calm waters that is Everton compared to the raggedy mess at Brum and Villa.

And it shows the type of upheaval that could visit us if we are to be destabilised.

But I accept that something has got to give and when Villa do sack Mcleish (I don't see him lasting the season), I suspect the **** will really hit the fan.

does anyone else find it amusing that ,villa have overspent and face a period of financial readjustment i.e. selling to balance the books, is now being used to say we are being prudent. lets get one thing straight, we are not a well run club, villa, before spending on players, were. they way our club has been mismanaged is appalling. ok, villa are in a mess, but we are in no position to point the finger and go "ha ha" . i wonder how long before our supporters really understand just how bad.

You only have to drive up Walton Lane towards the Park End to see what a well run club we are. The missing statue of Dixie, and half the wall should tell you all you need to know about the muppets that ru(i)n our great club.

Odd how they decided to appoint McLeish though. Would be like us hiring Rafael or something.

Guess the whole Villa finance situation says a lot about how O'Neill felt, and explains why he left so suddenly over not getting anything of the Milner money.

Exactly mate it's gone on for years , he's so predictable uncle Bill it doesn't wash with me anymore , but as long as Villa are in a bit more debt Matt Damon is Happy , the sooner our fans start worrying about our own chairmans countless failings the sooner the chairman might feel the slight bit of pressure on his easy little roll as captain of his ship ( our sinking club)

Do you know what? It would be nice to log on in the morning without every second thread being about the club and board.

There's a dedicated thread for that. Lets keep it there. I want s change of ownership too but it becomes tedious after a point.

We've probably now established what those fees actually were.

Much like the two agent's of Ba's asking for a wedge.

You didn't establish ****. You saw we paid out in agents fees a similar sum to that you claimed we paid kenwright in scouting fees and put two and two together and made 250,000.
