Nothing I can do mate, I haven't got the information and haven't been involved on this, have been working for days. Already spoke to the group.and expressed that we shouldn't be releasing bits

Give 'em time lad.

When you're talking to somebody about something important you don't immediately go home and tell all and sundry what was said. If you do that, then you lose credibility with "the other side" and risk closing down any further talks you might have planned / want to take place. It's a bit like unions and management negogiations. You don't hear all the details and what you do here, you don't get to know straight away.

You'd only lose credibility with the other side if they asked you to withold what was said for a specified period. Can't see why K would place a restriction period on releasing what was said, and if he has, I'm intrigued about what was said.

I'd guess they want to put something out which both sides agree is a fair representation of what was said and doesn't jeapordise any further talks.

Doubt it's like that. K will presumably get to see the statement and if there's something in it which he thinks is wrong then he gets the chance to correct it. If there's something in it which he doesn't like, then he gets chance to discuss it, but he won't have the right to veto it.

Trust me lad, that's how these things work. It builds trust on both sides and hopefully means that people can work together rather than be at each others throats.
