Having read that interview in full I have to say it was absolutely terrifying realising that the feller is even more out of touch with reality than I ever imagined.

That is Nero fiddling while Rome burns. I defy anyone to read it and not be shocked at how out to lunch he sounds.

In fairness your reading exactly what you want to read into this. I actually feel slightly more positive about Kenwright after reading through the statement, and no, im not an apologist.

I find it incredible you could see anything remotely positive for Everton in that. You have the floor....

I fail to see a smoking gun here, whats here that isnt already known, i suppose in the core message.

I would also call into question, the viability of the article lets be honest here its from one sides interprutaion - if true of course. I cant see how a multi millionaire if quoated as effing and blinding and joe soap fans are protrayed as reasoned concerned negotiaters, storming the bastille in the search of truth and objectivity lol.

I hope part of it at least is true, great to hear the club are looking at alternitive sites in edge lane etc.

Honestly, the fans should walk away and just start again from scratch. Maybe in 200 years our descendants (if the New World order hasn't microchipped them all to death) could be watching a Barcelona-style fans-orientated club rather than the unfathomable, spectacularly insanely run comedy club that is today's Everton FC.

For now though, I've decided I'm not bringing my lad up to be a Toffeeman; life's too short and there's enough stress as is with the global economy falling apart and austerity kicking in without choosing that as a never ending source of annoyance. He can find a bandwagon and jump on it; sure, he can be as profoundly vacuous as all the blowhards who support elite sides but at least he'll enjoy the occasional trophy win. Which is, after all, the object of being a football fan, notwithstanding all the ostensibly virtuous alternative reasons spouted by so many.
