Ok - I am pro Bill and nervous of selling to any Tom, Hicks, or Harry, but if accurate some of the comments about the finances in this piece are extremely worrying. It sounds like we are operating right on the brink. The fact that Bill is personally going to borrow to lend the club money speaks volumes.

I am definitely not in the camp of hounding Bill out though, stability could be what is holding us together. It may be unpalatable but not spending on players until we are sold / invested in is absolutely the right thing to do. £5m will not break the top 4.

There is a lot of talk about things short-term and long-term, in the short term, yes we are worryingly skint, but i do believe its only a matter of time before they find a suitable buyer, there is enough people looking that sooner or later they will strike gold.

Also much said of things that happened in the past and, although important, i think we have to move on because none of that can be rectified. Looking forward, as i said i do think it only a matter of time before the club is sold, and there does seem to be some hope with finding a new home...

i am really trying hard to be positive...
If a car was worth 10k and when you enquired about it you were told you could have it for 100k would you buy it because that is the scenario with our club.
The future is bright the future is orange or is that philip green thats orange.

He admits that he was happy when Destination Kirkby failed ... he was badly advised apparently , .... so why did " The world's greatest businessman " Philip Green , let him waste 4 years of the clubs time and millions of pounds in much needed cash in going ahead with this even after he was told by KEIOC that it would fail and why it would fail .

The more he speaks the bigger the hole he digs.
The guy only cares about himself and takes the mickey out of us fans something rotten.

I would generally say your wrong, i wouldnt bat an eye lid if Bill and the board were gone tomorow if it was good for Everton. In fact its interesting that some of the questions asked about in that transcript are questions i have asked myself over the years - makes you wonder.

I take issue with mistruths and spoofs that sometimes people post on here - which is in fact part of the problem. All this apoligist stuff and pro board stuff it doesnt exist really. All fans want Everton to progress, all fans can see how being sold would progress us, hell Bill and the board are shouting it. Many just dont beleive that Bill is the villian he is represented to be and can argue the point.

The whole Kenwrong and Kenwrigh debate doest exist apart from in some peoples minds, Kenwrongers invented Kenwrighters as adversiries in an imaginary battle in their own minds and to provide a foundation for ninja fury and spoof.

I think having a set and rigid agenda is dangerous, which is why i often argue points on here especially the spoffier ones.

I wouldn't argue with any of that, especially the rigid agenda part. That is why it was important that the transcript was just a transcript.

I was disappointed that Blue Union didn't press him on his business plans for the stabilisation and growth of Everton football club. After all according to Bill, Robert Earl is a great marketer and a real asset to the board, likewise He has Sir Phillip Green advising him - Soooooo what's the plan Bill?

Sitting tight and hoping a Billionaire will waltz along - is not a business plan

Essentially IMO the rest of the board have left Bill on his own - They are simply not interested. Bill meanwhile hasn't got a clue how to run a business, that much is obvious from the transcript of the meeting, neither does he have a clue of how to sell the club - so it would appear that we are well and truly fucked.

Sure, do you want me to PM it or post it on here mate? Did any of it make you cringe?

Post it here mate, no issue with getting feedback you know that. I dont know what was and wasn't making me cringe tbh. The while thing just made me feel sad.

No, i don't think he does only care about himself, he has said there in black and white he doesn't take a salary, he has mortgaged his own home and has begged the bank, despite the almost comedic content of the manuscript there is no way on earth he is there for himself.
