We are DOOMED , DOOMED I tells ya...

What will it take for things to change, my fear is when we are relegated. Surely Moyes and the top players have a limit to their patience. My fear is that the longer this goes on the harder it will be to get back, if ever , to past glories...

What i am saying is these clubs were for sale and they sold why not us.
If i had a choice between sunderland and us or newcastle and us or villa and us i would have chosen us because of history, fanbase and location.
If we really were for sale at a sensible price we would have been sold

No saleable assets. New stadium needed. Only 25% ownership of the club. 2 majority share holders who aren't willing to invest. Kenwrights shares are the only ones up for grabs...the shares are too small, the investment too big.

We are not attractive off the field.

Thats just horrible.

At least we arent quite Leeds yet.................

Lack of "somebody" on this thread.....

I'm not surprised with that read to be fair.

The only one with any business sense at the club seems to be Robert "worth 200mill" Earl...owns 24% of everton and doesn't give a ****...

Sale

The last thing I want to see is BK being forced by the aggressive minority to sell the club to people who don't give a toss and just use it to take money away from, like the Yanks over the park and up the M62. No wealthy person these days is going to buy a club and pile £100M in without having a modern stadium and a substantial debt to clear. As things stand our debt is manageable but sadly it means the transfer kitty is sacrificed. If you look at the accounts, player's wages swallow up a significant amount of turnover but I don't think people would disagree that the squad atm is better than any we have had for over 10 years. There will come a time when debt-ladden clubs will default and the likes of ourselves should be in a reasonable amount of financial security. So long as we stay in the Prem

Were selling players to pay the bank, well have to cull the squad to cut wages down at some point, which will be forced if we finish lower than last season and the revenue decreases...

As for lending from the banks....I thought only villa did that? lol

We are "begging" the banks to stay off our case and they want us to sell....

If we were a dog wed be put down rather than dying a slow death

Ive just told you why in the above post

Wolves where sold for £10 by a R/S fan Morgan

City Liverpool Sunderland Newcastle all have good stadiums so dont need to redevelop or build a new one

Leicester went for 6m

Portsmouth and Birmingham speak for themselfs

Pointless saying "if I had to pick between us and....." of course you would buy Everton because your a blue the people investing money arnt
You don,t get what i am saying i am trying to say if we were for sale we would have been sold now unless we asked a ridiculious asking price

depressed

this tickled me, in an all depressing read.

Bill, “No, I’ve not said you don’t, but you’re worried about the future because he’s just said ‘ah yeah but we haven’t spent in the transfer window’, if that’s what we’ve got to worry about guys, considering what’s going on in the world, Norway, East Africa” Barry, “We’re talking about football here.

there is no way this man eats, drinks, ****s Everton Football Club 24/7.

We are not selling players to pay the bank, we are selling players we don't need or who are in last year of a contract and would otherwise leave for free. The day we do start KEY selling players for that reason is when we know the club is in massive trouble, I believe we are operating okay we just arent able to match the £10-15M spending of the last 5 years. We have a good squad with some decent youngsters coming through, if things get really bad we can offload Heitinga, Bily, Yakubu, Arteta without things getting serious. BK said we cannot and wont sell the big four of Jags, Baines, Fellaini and Howard which is re-assuring to me

Bill did say he battles with the banks every day, and he was nearly hung drawn and quartered for not selling Arteta...

What I don't get is why he's on the board when he's clearly terrible at business. You can understand it with his theatre stuff, he sticks to what he's good at and gets other people to handle the finances. But what does he have that he's good at to offer Everton? He doesn't have any money to invest in the club, the club doesn't make money for him, what's the point?
