People at Everton use these forums mate. They are aware of what's posted. Ian Ross was outed as using NSNO forum and posting misinformation and arguing with genuine fans.

The media won't touch the story due to close links with the club's hierachy and print contracts we and other club owners businesses have with them.

These days it sees the communciation team spends more time scanning twitter accounts for information that they wish to keep out of the public domain then looking on forums. Depending upon your point of view, if the club have "friends" in the football forum community then they don,t have to police those "club friendly" sites. Instead, the club can focus on the twitter world which can give greater velocity in terms of spreading of information that they prefer not to be in the open.

All of this should not matter a jot for the club, if there is nothing to hide of course.
