He also said Woods owns way more than people think, his mate ( he just wouldn't discuss further ) also owns 10 per cent and Bill owns #### all. His words. But, like he said, they are all in for the gravy train if it comes off.

He's a real football lad, Mr X. I know he wouldn't lie.

There is a lot of complete tosh talked in this thread, less believable than some of the stuff on the old Kipper, and thats saying something, but the above has more credibility because I've heard similar about Jon Wood from a completely reliable source on a number of occasions. This is a source very close to Woods and I cannot divulge the source, sorry. To paraphrase what I was told...Woods is 'the one with the money' and has 'helped Bill a lot'...I'm not sure how so I'm not going to guess. There has been 'something' bubbling under the surface re investment/ purchase for some time...this has been suggested by the source I've mentioned, and also by another source close to Man City, who was spot on about Siniwatras sale to the sheiks (they were good mates of Siniwatra and when he needed bailing out, they saw an opportunity and took it). I used to work for a major charity, and am still involved with big charity events....this gives periodic access to sporting figures and top business people involved in sport. The sources are not in doubt, but sometimes these people can be deliberately misleading, so take everything with a pinch of salt. The post I've quoted above is pretty credible, as far as I would go.

Exactly. Thats why its always dubious to interpret something you hear as 'the truth', even from reliable, sources...that is sources who by virtue of who they are, just might pass on credible information.

There are two sides to every story, and we cannot be 100% certain that something will happen until it does.

Agreed...and what that means is that most of the posts on this thread are merely a restatement of the posters position re Bill K, the board, etc. Mind you its fun !! Happy New Year.
