Nah mate, it's all Bill's fault. At least I think it is. I used to think it was the Board's fault as a whole, but then someone said that Earl and Woods are actually just mindless puppets being controlled by Bill (or something like that). Although it was never adequately explained why they'd invest in a business just to let Bill run it into the ground, I decided it was all Bill's fault. Then someone else mentioned that Phillip Green was in charge because he has a big shadow, or was a shadow director, or a secret shadowman, or something shadowy. So maybe it's all his fault. Damn it WHY WON"T SOMEONE JUST TAKE THE BLAME?????

It's probably Neville's fault that Fer deal fell through. Probably took him out Nancy Kerrigan style.

To be honest though mate I think the lack of transparency at the top and had rumours that abound add to the whole troublesome situation . I'm nor defending the board because that's impossible & their position adds to the stories that are out there but I'm also not blaming them for everything .

You're probably more level-headed than most.

Not signing Fer was a big big mistake. We desperately need someone to freshen things up. Add to the fact that most of our players are midgets, we need more tall players in CM.

Anyway, I doubt there was enough money available to pay the up front fee.

Kenwright please leave for the sake of Everton (I know he won't).

Everything points to the elephant in the room.

Until the biggest Evertonian in the world, his cohorts and the hangers on go nothing will improve at the club even if Mourinho pulls up in L4.

Sheeds your PM in-box is full fella. Just cleaned out mine now.

Well i must need my head testing, Blue Union,Keioc and others talk about change, which really means some fantastic Arab who is going to spend his fortune on Everton. Supposedly these Arabs have been in touch with Everton and he wont sell because he is is greedy and doesn't care about Everton. This is bullsh--.
At the end of the day stay in the real world, the last ten years have possibley been as successful as they could have been on the budget we have, this is a purple patch, which i believe will be seen when Moyes walks and it falls apart.

I'm not sure what your point is.

The board are responsible for our current stagnation because they are the ones in charge of the football club. It doesn't matter whether some rich Arab actually exists or not, that lot have failed multiple times to improve Everton over more than a decade. I'm not debating 'change', i'm saying we are where we are because of Kenwright and the rest of them.

Doesn't matter if we get the best manager ever taking over from Moyes, we aren't going to push on with the current board. Fact.

The board quite simply dont have the money to make Everton a C/L team we all know that. But Everton are in the same boat as every other club outside the top six,is it all their boards fault? I believe Everton have been well run for the last few years hence are relative success( never really out of the top eight).

But my main point is ,if you want the board to go who do you want to replace them with??? Its easy to criticise but you realy have to have a plan. KEIOC criticised Kirkby ,which is their right as good Evertonians, but four years down the line, we are still in a decrepid stadium and they still have not come up with a stadium solution.

Premier League football club Arsenal saw profits fall sharply to £17.8m for the six months to the end of November despite selling Robin van Persie for £24m.

The club made almost £50m for the same period a year ago.

Despite the profits fall, cash reserves rose to £123m from £115m.

Supporters are pressing the club to invest in new players as it struggles to regain the top four place they consider it deserves.

Profit from trading players was £23.2m, compared with £46.1m for the same period a year ago.

Robin van Persie was sold to Manchester United, with players including Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud joining the squad.

Arsenal's chairman, Peter Hill-Wood, defended the club's strategy.

He said: "Our ability to compete at the top of the game here and in Europe is underpinned by our financial performance which gives the club strength and independence.

"We know that comes through winning trophies but also through the way we do things and that will remain our constant guide."

The Arsenal Supporters' Trust (AST) said the club needed to spend more: "Arsenal fans have contributed to this financial health through paying some of the highest ticket prices in world football. AST members want to see this money used for more, and better, investment in the team."

The club has not won a trophy since 2005.

At least we Aint Arsenal tho lads.

Totally agree mate........ also the govt planning inspector ruled the Kirkby scheme "failed to provide good and inclusive design, did not promote sustainable development or protect green space, and would economically damage the rest of Kirkby and its neighbouring towns by sucking retail custom away." But the lazy bitch gave no guidelines to the board as to where they should try next with details that would definitely be approved and with cast iron funding sources.

Fed up with our board being let down by these people.

Ever considered that the small budget you talk about was caused by the people responsible for it!

Can I change the first sentence to 'the board quite simply don't have the business nous to make Everton a C/L team we all know that.

Good point about four years after Kirkby debacle and the board have kept us in a 'decrepit' stadium!
