I'm made up that RM has told us we have £27m to play with, but personally i want £40m plus spent.

Using his own quote Martinez should be expecting £27 million but he should be expecting £14 million from the extra tv money this season plus the same again from next seasons. I make that £55 million.

I hope they have asked the owners if it can be enhanced, Elstone has previous as CEO for not asking permission first.

Goodison is landlocked surrounded on 3 sides by residential properties,business premises,a school and a church.
It would take years of legal wrangling with the sheer volume of cpo's required.
It took the rs decades to re-develop the Kemlyn rd and Anfield rd areas of the ground.25 years for the kemlyn rd,15 for the anfield rd end.
From an economic point of view a brownfield site within the city would be the way forward. Planning permission would be gained far more easily,there would be no loss of revenue whilst building work takes place,in effect a blank canvas to work with.
