...to be fair to Steve Wigan he's waiting too...waiting on the people who dumped tens of millions of quid into the OOCs category and didn't fully explain what it's gone on.

Not sure what thats supposed to mean...is it a joke, a little bit of mudslinging, an attempt at serious debate(doesn't look like it), or just some sort of random comment , another of Daves famous known unknowns, or is it unknown knowns ?

Explain to me then the steep decline from 2006 to 2007? Was this like the man who confessed his first affair, only to begin another shortly thereafter?

*I'd also like to know why there is such a decline from 2010 to 2013?

Other operating costs decreased at such times and are shown to be controllable by the club - why then did they double in one particular year is the question you evade ? (Not accountancy conventions btw)

wasn't the 07/08 season the last of that tv rights deal? as they run on a 3 year contract.

so as was known last year that the money was going up this year.

£11M to £21M - I expect that was transport expenses and beverages and such like - and so on and so forth....

It's a fair question mate, but you could also ask, given the three years before it was 17, 17 and 16 million, how come it dropped to 11 million ? You might argue that the 11 million was an anomaly and that the underlyng jump was in the order of 4 million. We know some of that was down to Finch Farm, which "went live" around that time.

Edit : To be fair, part of the drop to 11 million was down to the effect of outsourcing services, but I doubt that came to 5 or 6 million.

There's a massive lack of transparency from the club, which leaves them wide open to accusations of something underhand. If you're looking for some club to beat them with, then the lack of detail on OOC is a handy implement to bash them with, but I have much more sympathy with the argument that they've might a right hash of quite a few things over the last ten years or so.

Costs change. What's surprising about that? The costs of milk, bread, gas, etc., all change on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc., basis. We expect them to go up over the long term. Some costs can be purchased in one year but used in another. No small number of businesses make large purchases of supplies at one FY for use in another. They don't put the costs in the next FYE. Why did these costs move year to year? I can't say specifically, but it makes the most sense to me that these are natural fluctuations in random events. Artificial events (i.e., money laundering) usually have fewer fluctuations (Freakonomics has no small number of stories to evidence that cheating is often detected because the data is too smooth).

So what are the fluctuations caused by? Beats me. I don't take this as evidence that someone is stealing money. I see it as evidence to the contrary. I would need a preexisting bias to read this and conclude that someone is stealing money.

You're evading the question of why they nearly doubled in 2007/8, by asking questions about other years OOC's, in the full knowledge that I have no information on the OOC split and variations, or I wouldn't be suggesting that the board discloses such information. Can't make it clearer than that.

OOC has the least steep slope. I would like to think that if the Board were actively siphoning money, this line would have the steepest slope. Then again, some here suggest those guys don't know what they're doing, and inability to properly steal money may be further evidence to that end.

yep every 3 years pretty much.

the tv money goes up our OOC'S go up.

but explained spending stays the same them OOC'S must be very very effected by money coming into the club.

maybe finishing 11th in the league the year before?

So, shouldn't we all be arguing that the lack of disclosure is not acting in the best interests of the Company, because of the assumptions drawn by some, rather than as of now "unfounded" accusations of financial impropriety?
