Hello fellow blues and bloos it is nice to see optimism amongst our threads today and it made me think, gee I wonder how we could track Evertonian optimism in real time.

So above I’ve formulated a simple poll which the option to change your vote as often as you want to signal your general optimism about Everton at any given point.

In the poll 5 signifies extreme optimism and 0 denotes complete desolation.

If you want to add any comments about how you feel about Everton and why in that moment then feel free. Please note this thread isn’t a cynical trap to demonstrate the bipolar nature of online Everton fans at all.

Up the Toffees.

The key is don't get to high when we win,and don't get too low when we lose.

It's hard to say this to someone who's whole life and personality is based around a football team though.

2 for the time being........ Earlier this month it would have been 0-0.5.

But after the last couple of games and the chances created (plus the goals and especially 1st half performance on sunday), I can see a little bit of light at the tunnel.

But as every realistic Evertonian I think we need to still remain cautious as we know how easily and quickly things can change!

Anyhow..... a couple of additions to the current squad, and ideally some players to be shifted on in the back end of January, plus good performances and results in our next 2 games then I could possibly go to a 3.

David Moyes will lead us to the promised land.

So You, Dave, Golden, and Drico are already four zeros.

Let's see if the rest of us can counter that.

I'm a three so you guys are still well ahead.
