As I pointed out earlier with respect to Maradona, Che and Castro, that one is entirely in the eye of the beholder. It's not the kind of question that can be settled by debate, either, any more than the various religious disputes over whose doctrine is correct can be settled that way.
 

What a final this was. Probably the greatest game I've ever watched live.

I'm pretty sure these two teams will be finalists again in 2026 as well, with the way they've been playing.

It's a tribute to the host nation that hosted them and a way to thank them for their hospitality throughout the tournament.

For example, Japan is remembered very fondly by Brazilians because it's the country where they won their last WC.
