I think it's more her hair style she has chosen. And she has been on a natural kick which involves minimal makeup. Oh and she has a new baby (like 3 or 4 months old)

I keep up with all the Battlestar ladies.......though Six is the only one I actually fancy!

The hair style might have been chosen for her by the show. Looks like they’re still in production.

I think she did it on a whim, based on the backlash on her Instagram page and her stoutly telling everyone to eff off, it's her hair and she can do whatever she likes with it
