The forum has been acting a bit bonkers this morning..

Is it just me or has the forum gone a bit weird this morning?

Really stuttery performance, posts going missing... and randomly ending up as a different user on every page?!

I literally just saw the admin section of the forum on the front page because it looked like I was briefly logged in as @GrandOldTeam

What's happening?? database issues or something?

When I clicked onto the site this morning it logged me in as 'Everton JC'.

Was I hacked?

(Nah, glitch meant looked like username was different for a few moments as database was turned on but no different access/read permissions).

All done now/went according to plan.

Nothing out the ordinary, we can't share some server upgrades too widely as it's a potential security risk.

We're now running on Ubuntu 18.04 which I'm sure you'll all be thrilled to hear.

I refreshed again, this time I was logged in as the owner of this website @GrandOldTeam




Refreshed again and suddenly I’m logged in as @roydo and have access to the admin forum lol




This is petty bizarre stuff… like I’m not even sure how it’s possible
