Textor’s Eagle group’s account show them to be in real trouble. The Esk was right on that one, bullett dodged

I just looked briefly, the operating results look better. But they desperately need cash to pay of Ares loan. They need to sell CP and have a good IPO or they'll need to find other debt financing (which by reports they are already looking for).

I'm not sure that's really a concern for the league, at least not specific to TFG.

If the funds were obtained fraudulantly, I would think that the club itself and the people who signed for the funds could face liability. The club and those individuals face the liability regardless of who owns the club.

The league may want TFG to inject more cash into the club to cover any difference due to leverage rules, but to me if the debt isn't resolved, that's a club issue not an owner issue (not sure if that all makes sense).
Yeah, i get where you're coming from. I don't think it will specifically be an issue, but i'm certain the Premier League will be interested in that loan in some way shape or form. How far that interest will extend beyond a simple equity/ leverage issue I don't know 🤷‍♂️

There won't be any PL difficulty with the 777 loan. Even if TFG will be repaying that on the drip, they have the resources to repay it in full. TFG are removing a problem here, not creating one.

When you look at the conidiations they imposed on 777 TFG have met all, fund the new stadium, settle the MSP loan, show evidence of working capital.

If/when they get this over the line, it's going to be one of hell of a job. The entire culture within the club needs an overhaul. They'll be battling against 30+ years of chronic mismanagement. Everything needs to be changed.

The club as we know it won't survive another 10 years like the past decade. Yes the stadium is potentially a big boost, but not if we can carry on the way we have done since the formation of the Premier League. If after 5 years we are still languishing in the same position or worse, the ground will be filled with empty seats. You can't be as bad as we have been for so long and expect to retain your fanbase.

….its a great opportunity for a total change but the difficulty they have is the precarious league position and quality of footballers we have.

We’ll need a new manager/DoF combination with a record of building an entirely new squad whilst still maintaining our top flight status. Those two appointments are so difficult to get right. A massive challenge, the work only starts when the takeover is complete.

It's so difficult because there's so much to change. Those two positions and an excellent couple of transfer windows are needed. That'd give us something to build on.

I really hope they've already got plans to replace Dyche in the summer. Week in, week out he shows his ceiling is scraping to lower midtable with no idea how to push on any further.
