Was the most obvious rule to change and any club in favour of it was simply looking to cheat imo. What a shame that, in typical fashion, other clubs have gone on to significantly benefit from it and can not be obliged punished for such flagrant cheating, whereas Everton were docked points for building a new ground.

Seems strange for us to go for it with new owners coming though. Especially when we supported Man City in their legal case.

Possibly a way to get PL back onside with the outstanding case around stadium costs to be decided?
