Wolves will be above us soon enough. They’ve had a crazy start to the season and have a far better group of players.
Agree, they`ve had statistically the hardest start in the PL and sit 2 points behind us who have had statistically the easiest and they`ve come off an amazing 4-1 result away at Fulham. That will kick start their season, 100% they will be finishing above us and we might behind the other 3 by time December is out.

7 wins in 32 since December 16th 2023, no other manager stays in a job on that sort of run, none anywhere.

Friedkin not being able to get rid of Dyche now is for the birds, they will have a lot of leverage in this situation. It isn`t like Moshiri will be paying for it, the payout will be in staged payments, Friedkins will be in before there is any material cost which the Friedkins can pick up when they take over. As with any new purchase a large amount of working Capital will be pumped in.

I think Leicester Ipswich and Southampton have arguably worse squads than us, I don’t think there is anyone else. We’ve also got the most negative manager in the league, it’s a bad bad situation to be in.

A new manager just doesn’t instantly turn these into Barcelona.

Totally agree but whilst a new manager might not be able to turn us in to Barca he should be able to make this lot significantly better.

Significantly is a stretch. I think we could be significantly more positive in our approach, but that will also been taking a fair few leatherings if we open up (see: Lampard).

I honestly think we need to sack Dyche end of December, new manager, 3/4 new players and pray we’re in touching distance.

No but a new manager turning us in to Forest, Fulham, Brentford or Bournemouth at the moment is 100 times better than where we are now....

No,but a fella with his head half screwed on gets the required results to a least give us a stress free season.

I think we are past the point of stress-free but I do think we can get someone in who would deliver even a marginal improvement and that would probably be enough. It's all about survival again. Do what needs to be done and reset in the summer. I hope TFG are settled on what they need to do and are making at least tentative inquiries with candidates.

They've got legs all over the pitch plus a forward who scores as well as a manager who tries to do the rights thing.

If I was the Friedkins I'd be looking at Gary O'Neill.

If the Vermin though he was good enough for an interview he's doing something right.

100% mate.

He lost a couple of important players in the summer so they've adjusted slightly but his style of play and mentality hasn't changed especially considering they've had some tough opening fixtures.

You can see the work he does on the training ground with their patterns of play and shape.

We're absolutely light years away from anything Wolves are doing which is a massive worry for me, Especially considering they've just wiped the floor with a team who had us in our own half for 90 mins.

Gary O'Neill is definitely someone we should be looking at to come in.

Got to be McKenna at Ipswich who many wanted in the summer here and at other clubs.

Hes shown he can:

1: Immediately improve the team + get results
2: Quickly and effectively rebuild squads

Is it just me that finds their silence a bit odd? Like what are their basic plans or strategy or even hopes for where we are in 5 years from now? As is, we have no idea if we're just going to be a subclub to Roma to help them fix the mess they've made there, and while some basic PR isn't going to take away that fear completely, it would help to a small degree allay it.

What is it you want them to say?

I think Potter will be in by next June.

Him or McKenna

I think the situation is going to require action before then.

McKenna would take out a rival teams manager and ruin their morale.

Were 7pts down on where we should be :(
