If/when this takeover happens, what are people's opinions on them getting rid of Dyche and bringing someone new in?

I feel like at this point it wouldn't be a great idea as we have just about steadied things after a few years of turbulence. I'm no massive Dyche aficionado by the way, just concerned that starting again from scratch could be detrimental.

Be disgusting is my opinion.

Football may not be eye candy but he worked miracles last season with a squad of meh players and points deductions. Has earnt another season at the very least

Any new owner taking over Everton has to pay off the MSP loan straight away, it was one of the Premier League conditions as well as putting in capital to help run Everton for the foreseeable future
Plus all BK & Moshiris offshore loans outstanding still .... & the &&& input plus other investors etc - a total nightmare of financial instability - thanks Bill one loan was from a building firm in Cheshire that did not exist allegedly !

Yes, it is an absolute mess of a club we have become, what I said concerning the debts and operating costs was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to sorting out all the financial mess we are in

So the point you are making is these lads will come in, keep the stadium with the club, provide equity, increase commercial revenue, reduce debt, maximise the stadium revenue, replace high interest unmanageable existing debt secured against the stadium, with repayment of part of that existing debt and replacing the remaining high interest debt with affordable, repayable long term debt, secured against the stadium, - putting equity and cash money back into the club.

Good.

I don't know, what your smoking gun is here mate - in all honesty.

If their investment increases on the back of that - id be delighted and you'd have to say fair f's.

Ridiculous that the share equity in the club is changing hands for a nominal 50 mill - but thats the value of the club, right now (if even).

Big job of work to get there, the whole club needs recovering.
Yeah but, what have the Romans ever done for us?

We hire managers for future results, not past.

Having said that, I don't see how we're going to start with an appreciably better squad than we ended 23-24, so we should stick with him.

In what way is it darker? He's a spiv. Moshiri was a spiv. That's me being consistent. I can smell these people.

Great bit of stereotyping.

This isn't that though is it really? This is what it says on the tin: an entity coming in to restructure the debt and force the club to pay it off over a long time and they have the stadium as collateral. Yippee, great that we can wash our own faces with that I suppose?

The devil comes in many forms, they say...

I'm not particularly bothered about having socialists as football club owners. Ild just prefer to have no Republican supporting, anti-environmentalist right winger owning my club, 'is all'.

I was right 16 years ago, and I was right 8 years ago...remember then...when you were kissing Moshiri's ass. THAT'S how clued up you are Damo.

As I said last night: I mentored you on here and you've spit in my face as a thank you...

So carrying on doing that is a great result for us from Friedkin's lot taking ownership. How lucky are we to have these yanks then eh? Phew, it could have been so much worse, eh?

You what?

Mentored? What in how to wind up the forum?

As for my views on Moshiri. The idiot threw the best part of £1 billion at Everton and did so in a haphazard scattergun and idiotic way.

Kenwright retained. Koeman Walsh and Kenwright signing 3 number tens etc

I've retracted all comments related to Moshiri as he did not have a plan. He should have been brilliant but has no clue how to run a business. Just like Bill Kenwright.

As for the "spat in the face" nonsense. You love being dramatic. You do it for dramatic effect. Like Bill Kenwright used to do 🤷‍♂️

Loved a drama did Bill Kenwright. Just like you.

Not sure what you think this is mate.

This isn't new debt mate. They are paying our most immediate debt and getting better terms for the club on the remainder, interest payments as they stand are north of 5 mill a month at the club to existing lenders. Money saved supports the business. The current situation is the stadium is collateral now and at real risk of going out of the ownership of the club, without these guys sorting MSP, MSP month to month have the option of taking up ownership of the stadium.

Not sure i see the point you are making on bad choice here or choosing an alternative.

It is critical Everton get the costs of servicing interest on the debt down

Those who signed us up to it like Bill Kenwright deserve to be crucified

Absolute shambles and the direct opposite of what other successful stadium development financing did.

Seriously we can't be going through that again the second time where a creditor blocks a potential investor this takeover has to simply happen don't you dare Rights and Media
They didn't block it. They just refused to restructure their loan to less favourable terms. We either pay them off or carry on with existing payment schedule. They have no other input into a takeover.
