How long has it been now?
We`ve been looking for competent owners since the early 90`s, so whats another couple of months added onto the last 30 odd years.
I don`t know if its a good sign that we are n`t getting weekly updates about how everything is going fine, as when the 777 deal was going through we were being assured it was only a matter of time before it went through right up until it fell through.

A hard deadline for me would be 20th December, which in practical terms is the last working day before Christmas. Thats 5 weeks away this Friday.
I think that would be a pessimistic view of how long more its likely to take.

Once we reach the end of November, it could happen at any time afterwards. It was suggested last week that whilst things are not dependent on the Leadenhall court case, the Friedkins would like that issue resolved in tandem with the approvals being granted. But the various authorities that need to grant approval won't have that in mind. The only thing I could think of there is that The PL grant a conditional approval linked to resolution of the A-Cap debt but I've not read anything to suggest that that's a possibility. I don't think there will be a co-ordination of the approvals either. 777 were approved by the FCA for example.

That could be possible, rumours it could be early December too ?
