Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right...
Inspired and reminded by the 'Crusts' thread I've decided to revive my Full English Thread from a couple of years back.

The Full English Breakfast or FEB.

So what's yours then...what must you have, what won't you have at any price, what are you not fussed about either way.

Sausages; Pork, Beef, other, none.
Bread; white, brown, other - toasted, raw, fried, no bread at all.
butter, marge, some sort of healthy gunk other, none.
Beans; whose? or none.
Bacon; of which stripe
Eggs; fried, boiled, poached, any other which way.
Other stuff.
none or all of the above.

On a personal note 1; Going from part of the title it would seem to follow that it will NOT contain a hash brown, no matter how much you think it should

last but most importantly...condiments; salt, pepper, white, black, other, mustards.

And the biggest question of all.

Brown or red...aye, that is the question.

On a personal note 2; As the whole concept of the F.E.B. is thought by some to be a tad unhealthy by definition...but not in moderation surely.
It makes no sense to put in 'Healthy' stuff to ease your mind, like wholemeal this or low fat that.
That isn't what it's about.

Mine; On 2 thick crusts of white bread ( of the type they don't seem to make anymore ) toasted dark dark brown, ( nearly black) with butter
Pork sausages, Black Pudding, one egg, fried or poached, with a runny yoke, Beans of the decent type, Heinz, Watties, no super market own label stuff, but the beans must not cover the egg.
Bacon - meh, it's hard to get a decent tasting bacon. I can take it or leave it.
Salt, small amount on the egg. white pepper.
Red sauce on the egg only.
Brown everywhere else.
English mustard every now and then when I feel like it.

If they ever did catch me and they were going to hang me in the morning, it would be my last meal of choice...even if the screws did gob on it...It's that good.

off you go then.

As an American I can't comment on a FEB.

Sausages: Pork...maybe with maple flavoring.
Bread: English Muffin w/butter and jam or Biscuit w/butter or white sausage gravy (our kind of biscuit)
Beans: NO!
Bacon: Crispy
Eggs: Scrambled OR Ham and Cheddar Omelet
Other Stuff: Hash Browns...crispy. Pancakes w/butter and maple syrup

My mate brought some cured beef to a party a couple of weeks ago. That shiz tasted like beef bacon.

Never heard of beef bacon though.

Probably the same thing. I think the chefs at a local place are muslim, so they don't use bacon? I don't know if that's a thing.

I had it a few times and with a bit of rosti, tomato, sausage and avocado its pretty good.

His was salt cured...and it was incredible. Pretty sure that's what beef musta tasted like back when they used salt to store meat.

(2) x Pork Sausage
(4) x Bacon
Eggs, at least two, either over easy or poached......so long as the yolk is runny......
Thick white bread, either toasted/buttered or fried
Fried diced potatoes with some red pepper and onion sauted in there

Now, either beans or ketchup over the lot. Never both though, one or the other.

You disgust me *shudders and heaves

Decent sausages are key. At least 80% pork!

Bacon, eggs (Being a weirdo, I prefer scrambled), mushrooms, fried tomato, smothered in brown sauce and a stack of buttered toast/bread.

I also make incredible hash browns. I will post the recipe later ;)

Sausage, fried egg, Heinz beans (this is the only sauce), fried mushrooms and a lightly grilled, halved tomato.

Tea and buttered toast on the side.............

Had many a full breckie on Williams St mate, think the place was called somethin on Williams, was tremendoso

Butchers sausage and unsmoked bacon both grilled. Black pudding grilled , tinned tomatoes . Fried egg X 2 and fried mushrooms. 2 brown buttered toast . Sometimes Ulster fry as a change from bacon.

No room for beans they are scum of the earth.

I'm not so rigid with this:

black pudding (lots)
sausages (any kind, a few)
eggs (fried, scrambled or poached, any bird)
toast optional, (white, spread with something)
bacon (any, come on, bacon's bacon when it's the morning)
mushrooms if available
