Due to the success of my other thread asking for aftershave suggestions I thought I'd now extend it to lovely pairs of shades for the summer.

This way I can look like a [Poor language removed] as well as smelling like a whore's handbag.

So, give it to me- who are you wearing on your face these days???

(Yes @Kurt. we know, you're wearing my Ma)

😂😂

Well she does block out the sun ☀️ 🤷‍♂️

Pushed the boat out and invested in a pair of RayBan Polaroid sunglasses a good few years back. Over 10 years now I think about it. They're still going strong today. Driving with Polaroid glasses reduces a lot of road glare.

There are "makes" of sunglasses now?

Just dark bits of plastic (hopefully with uv filters) to put in front of your face ain't they? Not as if they're cars or hifi ffs.

This planet.
come on smart-stuff, lets see what you've jimmied together...

Well there’s only 1 company that makes them all but yes there are makes.

Only but the expensive stuff myself, can’t handle sunlight. Bought some polarized lenses but now can’t read my phone because it has a glass protector.

I'm reminded now that a mate spent a lot of money on some sunglasses years back. They had a brand name now I remember ... so I guess wearing that name made him feel more important as he paid the maker to advertise their name ... that's the idea, isn't it?

Anyhoo - when he tried to wear them they were so close fitting that they interfered with his eyelashes. He actually took a pair of scissors to his eyelashes rather than give ip on the glasses!

Did he have no nose? He couldn't find a spare 3mm on his schnozz?
