I dunno about amateur's. I mean football shouldn't be in the olympics, U23's with a couple of other players, it's an utter farce.

It should only be sports where the best of the best compete. Rugby sevens is an iffy choice, but i suppose imo RU or RL shouldn't be there because the world cup is the pinnacle. I mean you could vindicate T20 cricket because winning the olympics could be seen as much bigger than winning the world cup seeing as they play it every year. Tennis is the same as football though, Wimbledom will always be the pinnacle, it's nice to be in the olympics, but again, not the pinnacle.
