The thing I remember is that the lawnmower was covered in ladybirds. Crawling everywhere they were. There were stories in the paper about it.

i said dream, it was more like a nightmare and steam! we used to wish our blood was as cold as steam. our blood was so hot that our Mam would boil our Dads eggs in it for his breakfastdream? DREAM? no sleep for us, cat-o-nine tails, blistering sun, heat so hot our blood was steam.
That's just the first home game.In 1976 it was seen as great weather. Who needs to go to Benidorm when it's just like it here?
