People shouldn't need reminding but checking on elderly and vulnerable this winter could save a life.

Directing people to appropriate support as well. Sometimes pride can get in the way, so gentle encouragement might be needed.

Huh. Still creeping up to 14 degrees down here in Sussex in the middle of the day.

Had some rain earlier this week, only got to 8 degrees on Wednesday. If I was a betting man I'd wager we're in for another mild "winter".
