I think they have never watched football before. It's nothing without the players, not the fans.
The premise that an independent arbitrator is good for football is sound. However this Tory government is ideologically based on individual wealth for the few, it would appear to me that the Premier League is functioning as the prefect example of right wing ideology, all the wealth is concentrated in the hands of the few and they decide how much and when it is trickled down to the many, if the many behave themselves. If they don’t behave you relegate them and bring in a more subservient club to maintain the status quo.
