Little crab used to always score against us hates him as a kid. Don’t even think he was that good.

Remember it being beaten us and Boro for him and thinking because had had played with Robson we had no chance. I was 10/11 at the time and Duncan was my first real hero but for people my age we have had no with all the qualities Andrei had since.

Limpar had the quickest feet of any winger ive ever seen. On his day he was world class and could take the piss out of any player/defender. His short comings was consistency.

Goal against Leeds in between Boxing Day and new year in 95 I always loved as a kid. He could score all types of goals.

At the time I was in my early teens and didn’t really question why one of the best players in the league left United to join us given we were pretty rubbish back then. Now I’m older I often think back to what a bizarre transfer it was. Why did he leave United ? Why Everton and why did no one else try and sign him ?

We were decent then, I think the club knew that and credit for pulling it off. Unfortunately we surrounded a few top players with dross back then. He is in my top 5 blues of all time. An absolute wonder to watch in flight.
