Saving him for the horrendous disappointment of the home kit. Can't see Hamez in any of the press photos for it which would easily boost sales so looks like hes off next season

What the bloody hell are you on about? So just to recap:
Everton have brought out a "Black Watch" kit that in fact isn't the red sash included in the "Black Watch" kit, but a "burnt orange" sash - and they're putting it on the backs of people from a sectarian scarred city like Liverpool...just when the Northern Ireland situation is getting out of hand again and could be adopted by bigoted and politically and religiously motivated elements.
Please, dont let anyone here say they cant or dont see the ramifications of this ridiculous and disgraceful choice for an Everton kit.
The club haven't done it out of malice. They did it because they're clueless corporates.
Apparently we feel like we have to go on a march where we're not wanted just to prove a point. What if it's an Orange sash?
Lot of flat eaters too. There are people who remain blissfully unaware of such associations. Good luck to them. I envy them. But that doesn't mean the associations aren't there.
The bottom line is that you cant do stuff like this in Liverpool without it alienating a lot of people. And Everton FC should have known that before they produced this colour and design.
As I said above - and despite all the ribbing I'm getting right now - there will be a LOT of people who post on this forum who will agree with that point being made.
You just dont mess around with symbolism like this. That's the bottom line.
No true scotsman fallacy. No mate. I wont be. Dont kid yourself this comes across as nothing. If you think that way you dont come from Liverpool.
Mate??I'll absolutely buy that .
Next march when its reduced to 20 quid.
Tight git me.
I’m born and bred in Liverpool, I don’t associate it with the troubles in Northern Ireland, don’t speak for everyoneNo mate. I wont be. Dont kid yourself this comes across as nothing. If you think that way you dont come from Liverpool.
