Not everyone - home grown Liverpudlians of my generation or older were familiar with the Liver Bird on municipal livery etc. I recognised it as a symbol before I ever knew about Everton or Liverpool football clubs.

Fairly old - 67yrs. and counting. Remember seeing the old cormorant on Corpy buses, trams etc. as a very young child. I don't have a problem with them using it though, I just see it from a broader perspective.

At least the Keeper kit is Celtic green. Clever stuff from Everton. Representing both sides of the sectarian divide. Life is after all, all about balance and not taking sides.
