The 'fixed' thing is annoying, cos they're never funny. Yeah some of those are wearing thin too. Not too much winds me up on here tho, it does when people point score over who is the bigger blue

Oh it's nothing i'll lose sleep over, but they are just little annoyances, nothing like the way 'Bainaar' makes me fume tho haha

So a quick rundown of my day...got a text from the Mexican chick I went out with a few weeks ago...haven't really talked since then, so wasn't sure what was going on but out of the blue, she asks me to hang out today as they were going down the St. Louis Arch (pictured below)

The city puts on a huge 4th of July event every year...we went down to see the air show...lots of boss planes and stunt pilots...I'm not an airplane guy, but these air shows are pretty boss. It was hotter than hades though...40 degree C...

Unfortunately, I had to go work my second job at 4pm, but she came up with her family and had dinner which was nice...then they headed back dowtown for the big fireworks display. Which, in about 10 minutes, is going to look like this...

I can actually see it a bit out my backdoor on my deck...

Home now...chilling in the Air Conditioning...

Who are the forum bullies lid?

Could be anyone Azz, its just that sometimes there'll be a new thread put up by a new member and the first post shoots it down in a way that's 'not nice' if you know what I mean. If some of the 'senior' members spent a little time giving advice through PM to new members then they would settle quicker and become a regular posters rather than having a fume and disappearing.

It takes pretty thick skin to penetrate the GOT heirachy to become an accepted poster.

I know what you mean. A bit of banter's fine but sometimes new posters just get terrorised. If they're being an arrogant bell like LBQ then fair enough but sometimes it's not on.

Ah well, all happened to me probably and now I'm fairly settled in.

That's what I said mate, takes thick skin, you and me must have it. Can't make my mind up about LBQ though, some need to let up on him and give him some advice, trouble is he could be a clever multi.

There you go, another thing that ticks me off, Multis!

I think to be fair Degs, it's testament to this site that so many from around the world are here and still posting, so i disagree with you slightly. I think coz its summer and with all this ITK, transfer and multi garbage, people are just a bit fed up and are pouncing on people which is wrong I agree but people on here are sound, its not normally the style or way.

I'd encourage any new poster though to take everything with a pinch of salt with what people say

Agree with all of that. Summer time brings out the worst in some...but all in all this is the soundest bunch there is really. Always going to be a few bells, but that's life, isn't it? The good lids far outweigh the bad ones by a long shot.

What's with this bully stuff lately? Its uncalled for I reckon. Lets swerve the CLIQUE! CLIQUE! stuff as there's a continual amount of new lids that come and settle in without feeling awkward or "bullied". Maybe on other sites but seldom here.

One thing this place has always been good at is not tolerating fools or posters who genuinely are nasty.

If you see any bullying then report the post and the mOdz will deal with it I reckon.
