The Neville Problem

I watched him pre-season at Goodison, TBH he wasnt very good, gave the ball away quite a lot, if I recall he scored though. Good attacking but needs work defensively.

Neville has the people skills apparently that makes him a team leader. Probably will be a good coach one day. But even his days in a red shirt he really didn't impress me with his game. His passing has lacked a great deal and he gives the ball up way to often. But somehow he brings that special confidence to the lads that I can't put my finger on. I'm not sure what the future holds for him myself. I just don't care for him in midfield I sorry if that affends too many.

I'm pretty neutral when it comes to Neville and Hibbert at this point.

Just so long as whoever's at that RB spot gets the job done.

And I'm with you Mike, no Neville in midfield please.

Right now, Neville at RB is better than Hibbo. Also seems a decent captain. So as of now, I see no problem in Moyes dropping Hibbo for Neville when appropriate.

Neville in midfield is diabolical, except when he played on the right side of midfield once, looked OK there. But not the man to replace Supercars, no.

Agreed Canada I he does ok in the back four. Thats fine with me.

I dont think its Moyes's style to drop players for returning ones, if the team is winning hel stick with it including Neville and Hibbert. If its not whatever changes he makes the players can have no compaints.

If we keep winning some of the ANC boys may have to bide there time for places.
