Got back from a gander round the actual Colosseum, earlier today. Puts into sharper relief what an embarrassment this place, and its relative lack of people getting f’d rar up, has become.

How are we ever supposed to grow as a society if we can’t slap each other in the mug full force with our chain mail gloves and demand blood be drawn at a supermarket car park of our choosing, once in a while?

Hurts to say but I think we need a humbling Everton loss at the weekend to act as the Dulcolax to the constipation of confrontation we find ourselves in the midst of.
