Anyway, enough of sullying the Arena by chatting about a fella who’s been charged with raping and trafficking and who conned loads of incels into thinking females are the enemy because they haven’t consensually touched one before.

Always the same types who jump to his defence.

I don't think that's the entire problem. Some men are the enemies of women. Some women are the enemies of men. Certain toxic people in both those camps have substantial bases of followers. Some of those people are better at concealing the truth about their position than others, to observers outside their bubble.

As with most of these divides, the people at the poles get the lion's share of media attention because controversy sells. The Internet has lowered the barrier to entry for extreme views into the media space, which has given voice to a large amount of hate that once lurked beneath the surface.
