And here we are again.
To be fair, to Pete (much though it galls me to show sympathy with any tory), I've been helping an elderly neighbour cope with the decline in his dementia afflicted wife and its a far from pleasant last stage of life. It nearly did for the old man before the extraordinarily hard decision was made to use the kind of home designed to alleviate you of a life's acquisition in just a year or so of care. I'd wish it on nobody. It ain't easy. It plays on the mind and affects your life in every way conceivable.

My mum went the same way. Horrid.
