I have a confession.

The younger me, well he held some views that the older me is disgusted by.

I didnt understand, I had this view of the world and boy was it wrong.

As ive got older ive tried to grow, to become a better person. I look around this world and I dunno, it just seems broken, but then if you look throughout history, the world has always been broken. I cant fix the world, but I can become a better person, try and be more understanding of the problems other people have, try and understand what its like to be different.

I suppose apply critical thinking, look outside what I accept as normal.

I am not a perfect human being, none of us are, but what we can try and do is understand more, the people who are worthy of understanding.

People like this bellend, they deserve only scorn.

Cos part of me becoming a better person is not allowing hateful people to air their views unchallenged.

I am a WOKE, hear me roar.
To be fair mate, I think younger version of 90% of people did. When I was at school calling everything bad “gay” was just something everyone did and you never thought too much into.

When I look back on it I feel deeply embarrassed, especially given the best man at my parent’s wedding is a gay man, but I like to think most people get more socially-conscious as they grow older and realise previous views and behaviours were unpalatable. If anything I’ve gotten progressively and significantly more left wing with age than right wing, and hope that continues.

Also agreed on seeing everything’s broken - as a kid foodbanks we’re something you barely (if ever) heard about, the NHS was properly funded, and a lot of public and social services were significantly stronger than now - and I’m only 31. Over the 4/5 years I had a flat in Liverpool centre I could basically watch things getting worse in terms of homelessness and crime from my balcony, but when I’d originally moved in Liverpool was considered one of the safest nights out in Europe. All of this coincides with significant Tory cuts to public services and social safety nets.

Just because your small sample pot heads aren’t smack heads doesn’t mean they don’t do coke or whatever and that there isn’t a general correlation between soft drugs and hard drugs.

You people really are thick as 💩
I would rather be "thick" as you say rather than a cold uncaring "human" like you.

To answer your points no you don't need to be on the moon to know it had less gravity. But thats like comparing apples and oranges. Both different subjects involving human emotions. But then I guess even the mighty science person like you doesn't know what human emotion and empathy is apart from what you have read in a book.

Empathy for Ali? What I suggested is best for him 🤣

People’s lived experiences are often objectively bullshit. Hence mirages things like that.

I call it how I see it based on evidence, critical thinking. I don’t need to have walked in someone’s shoes to comment.

Curious viewpoint seen as pretty much everything you’ve posted has been based on jarg discredited sources or anecdotes
