Lived experiences rely on the senses, the senses can be flawed. Hence more gravy than grave about you. And other such delusions.

Of course, science statistics studies, are better but these come with p values confidence intervals etc these things are limited in scope like the study sample size. Also political bias can creep in or just plane badly done work. As well as inherent issues with how p values work. P value is how they measure if it is significant or not.

You have headlines taken from studies presented as fact without limitations of the study which also muddies the water and peoples outlook.

A lived experience may or may not match up with scientific evidence which may or may not be accurate.

Struggling to see which view of mine is wrong?

If I done a covariant analysis of Dele Ali he would surely have a high prediction of substance abuse. He’s literally in the newspaper with hippy crack and taking prescription pills. It’s already self evident of substance abuse whether it is more or not is unknown given the priors it’s highly likely in my
opinion.

If ever I've read something anyone has ever written and thought "That man needs a bong" it's you.

I once read a quote from Kate Beckinsale and she needs a "bonk" but that's not related to this particular matter. In-fact, I'll be back in 10.

How do you overcome the limitations of sample size and flaws in P values my learned friend?

Weirdest agreeing with me I have ever seen calling my addiction experiences delusional..

Missed the delusional bit; but he basically said that real life experiences can fly in the face of statistical probability. As you, (and I) have experienced.

It's highly unlikely that he is a critical thinker if he is too young to vote for Blaire. I speak from bitter experience that one thing the tories did to the curriculum when they got back in was change it to rote learning rather than to coach thinkers. Thinkers is the last thing they want in a population. Critical thinkers don't vote tory. Only the wealthy, the easily led and the dumb.
If he ever had a critical thought it would die of loneliness

I didn’t say your addiction experiences are delusional 🤦🏻‍♂️

However people do experience things that are delusional.

If you have addiction problems I suggest you seek a professional for help. And I wish you well. They will use studies etc to diagnose then give best course of action.

Actually yes you did....

So I can see professional help but Dele should be sacked ? Does that mean I should get sacked too?

I actually got help with my addiction thanks and it was nothing to do with studies to diagnose me... no one I ever met in Gamblers Anonymous has ever been diagnosed by a study...
