This was on the news yesterday. Headline piece. Israel and Hamas are blowing the crap out of each other, and who will be the next doctor who. I swear BBC News is getting more like Newsround every day. They were talking about Nationwide not passing on rate cuts to mortgage holders and wheeled on some boff from the City, who proceeded to tell us how tricky a balancing act it is between borrowers and savers. Well duh. They'll be getting Michael Fish to tell us the sun came up before long.

For a doctor who? Yeah. The character is always about being clever and charming in an English way so why not

I don't really like the look of this guy, as has been said, he just looks too young and effeminate to me. I used to like Christopher Eccleston as the doctor, eccentric and funny and he brought the character upto date. I hated Tennant at first but he grew on me. Rose was the best assistant as well

Yes, same with me, as you say Ecceleston was quite good and i was gutted when he left and didnt think i would like Tennant 1 little bit, so hopefully this new guy will grow on me, but sadly i cant see it.

So Russell T Davies is giving it up for Steven Moffat too. That should be interesting. Tennant surprised me because I really liked Eccelstone. I'm kinda sad to see him leave. He became my personal favorite.

I wanted Judi Dench. The program needs to be bold again. What is wrong with going back to older looking Time Lords once in a while, and why discount the posibility of a female Time Lord ?
