I do find the Echo podcasts ok, but can’t use the website it’s rubbish.

Reporting is genuinely quite poor on Everton, the larger media outlets tend to focus on the usual suspects (RS / Man Utd / Chelsea etc).

From my experience in these things, it takes enthusiasm to want to commit the time and personal resources to do fan media. The club hasn’t given anyone much of that for a long time, until very recently.

Used to be Toffeeweb, now it's just this place & Evertonia. For other things like current affairs & world news, I try to get a balanced report, which is usually Russell Brand, David Icke, Alex Jones, & a bit of Andrew Tate.

Definitely a factor mate. I think people with enthusiasm to do it, also now reach for video and podcasts. And rely on social media for audience.

Most "fan sites" aren't actually fans now. They're network sites often with fans of other clubs churning out SEO/clickbait. I can't think of many that are genuinely independent that allow fan contributions.
