One kid under school age and another on the way, but I understand people who wouldn't want to with the world currently on its arse.

Up to today's parents to shape their kids to be prepared for the world they'll inherit if you ask me. Sadly many couldn't give one though, all about themselves.

Accepted a long time ago the planets goosed in terms of avoiding massive climatic change, as a species we can't look far enough into the future to be arsed to do anything about it.
 
Speaking as a robot I'm heartened by the increasing use of AI in all sorts of areas.

One day people will treat us as equals and not just as heaps of nuts and bolts and that.

I regularly use Chat GPT. Its increased both my arguing about pointless stuff and my intelligence in equal measure.

I’m not sure if I’ve won.

Me neither but another example of how youth is wasted on the young, though, dear God I know, we've left this gaff in a terrible state, what can they do with it?
Older I get, the more I side with Hicks's conundrum and want to take off and nuke it from orbit. But, I've lived my life, and I look at my kids now and just keep thinking 'sorry'.
I think the youth need a Strummer, Marley, Weller to give them.direction.
Stormzy I get, but the media world is too strong for him.
