What didn’t make sense was Brighton selling 4/5 of his best players and then giving him hardly any money, after finishing 6th. And then give the new manager 200mil. I could see why he was a bit pissed off
Could be wrong but I think it was more that RDZ wanted players bought outside of BHA's recruitment model and there was friction around that.

Carsley is 50 years old and has managed about 30 first squad matches in his life. He shouldn't even be granted an interview.

Within month's of Arteta's retirement as a player, he was hired by one of the best managers in the world.

They're not comparable.
Said best manager in the world also rates Carsley highly as a coach

Maybe we need to focus on DoF first. I’d be inclined to look at Davie Weir, very highly thought of and has worked with Potter & de Zerbi (who are the types I think we’d be going for). I was actually impressed that he went to Brighton over rumoured links to us.. shows he wants to be in a professional environment where he can do his work. I think he’d actually be a very good pairing with Corberan tbh

I mean he’s just managed the national side and youth national side, but ok.

Brighton have brought a manager in aged 31 who only managed in the German second division.
Well Roy hodgson, Southgate and big Sam have managed England, would you take them. Well Let's see how the new Brighton
Manager gets on before we all
Hail him a great success

What's he achieved at Brighton?

If carsley had no history with Everton, he wouldn’t be getting mentioned he’s got no experience whatsoever and proved that the other night. We need to get away from this small minded mentality about ex players

Jep, that is a mistake that many clubs do. Give former world class players a job that failed as manager or are club legends.

Like Henry, Vieira or Pirlo for example, insane as a player, but nowhere near that class as a manager and still keep appointed.

Something we surely should avoid.
