The other thing is if we give this conversation 8-10 years there might not be any point in it because Mahomes is on another planet. He just needs to build a bit more history.

In 8 to 10 years Brady will be in th HOF with probably another ring or two. Depending on how long more he lasts.

So it's a given you would be talking about someone else.

That doesn't and shouldn't take away from Connors point. To many he is one of if not then greatest based on his accomplishments and his stats.

There's not many QB that would survive without an OLine and targets to throw at maybe apart from Russell Wilson and Mahomes.

Just about every QB is only as good as the team around him and the coaches making the right decisions. With the above exceptions.

Brady has proved though his read of the game is excellent and his adapting to it is also right up there.

Which is why when talking about a QBs individual ability we probably shouldn't be using what the team accomplished as proof.

And your last point is right. My true knowledge only goes back to 2003 or so but what I've seen he's top 3. It's funny that saying that is an insult now but I just don't feel that there is really anything that separates him outside of his team being incredible. So he's right up there for sure but people are treating him like Gretzky now which is just comical.
