At the risk of getting too chesty, this Saints plug-and-play team that can destroy on D and move the ball and score on O is as exciting an NFL team as I've watched. All without our top-3 QB and last week without our top-3 RB. Depending on the nature of Apple's injury, that could hurt us, but so long as we get healthy I like us against any NFC team in the playoffs. WHODAT?

*And with LSU looking the part, it's as good a time to watch football in Louisiana as I can remember.

Saints look really strong. Probably top side in the NFC.

I just hope the 49ers can strengthen the offence with returning players on the O line and Hurd / Taylor at WR.

I would put that Niner D against any offence currently. Just the Offense isn't Championship level yet to go full throttle against Saints / Packers.

This defense is historic.

LOL. They have played and beaten the Jets (twice), the Dolphins, Bills., Steelers, Redskins and Giants. Combined record 11-26. Every year, not only do they play in the WORST division in football, the other games/teams they get are easy too. This year, they have the easiest schedule in football, when as defending champions, they should have one of the toughest. NO ONE can argue with this FACT.

The only way to compare this would be to give the likes of City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs et all, opponents ONLY from League 2 or lower in the cup competitions up until the semi final stage.
