Don’t think you can call Kapernick a bum.All I'm saying is (a) it's a small sample size and (b) I don't think there's anything to discuss, but since 2002 basically it's (1) Russell Wilson and (3) 3 bums, 2 of whom are out of the NFL.
Is this a continuation of the AFC East vs NFC West thing from this week? If it is I want to weigh in and say the AFC East is clearly the weaker division. The Dolphins, Jets and Bills are 3 of the 5 or 6 worst franchises this century. It's a complete mess. NFC West has rotated but almost always has had 2 competent teams.Don’t think you can call Kapernick a bum.
He was brilluant until the 9ers disintegrated under poor coaches, schemes and personnel.
He’s a top 15 NFLQB at least without the political aspects that have influenced his career
The Rams ?
Lol.

It's an analytics thing. The thinking is winning in regulation is more desirable than forcing OT. So when down 14 if you go for two on the first of the two TDs you need you can then kick the XP to win the game if you convert the initial 2 pts. If you don't you can still go for two again to force OT. Two pointers are usually around 50% so most the time you'll get at least one. Obviously it makes you look silly if you do miss both but the idea is getting one either wins or ties the game without having to go to overtime which would then require another score. Why did the Panthers go for 2 ? Now they have to get 2 if they get another TD
