The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

2 match ban for elbowing the back of a club staff members head, then continuing to argue and pull his glasses off. Strange.

When a supporter pushed Eddie Howe in 2023, they were given a lifetime stadium ban and charged with assault.

Doucoure got 3 games for touching Kanes face who fell to the ground like he’d taken a cricket bat to the chin.

The PL rulebook must literally be 350 pages explaining what constitutes a handball, and nothing else.

apparently what cunha did is the equivalent of when ronaldo slapped a phone out of a fans hand

Duncan Ferguson got jailed for headbutting another player and a 12 game ban (albeit in Scotland)

Hazard got 3 games for the Ballboy incident

Toney got 8 months for betting on some games

You’d think there would be some form of consistency in the biggest football league in the world but as with all their rules they’re just made up on the spot aren’t they?

Just look at the points deduction we got and Forest got. Leicester getting away with theirs via a loophole. Chelsea and Man Utd regarding ffp has been ridiculous. The PL just make it up as they go along and don't seem to care that they contradict themselves by doing it that way

The PL Management Board has one function and one function only and that is to ensure English teams are successful in Europe. It matters not if they have a foreign coach and 10 foreign players on the team, if they play in the Premier League then they are English. They can flaunt the rules, they may need a little help from the referees, but hey ho. If you are not in Europe you are cannon fodder and can be cheated.

Nothing in the world can convince me that there wasn’t a loophole Everton could’ve slithered through like a snake that’s gone over a landmine

Did we not come forward to talk to the PL about our concerns that we may be in breach of the rules so that we could find a way to be compliant? Had we not brought up the subject the PL could have been completely ignorant of our situation.
