The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

You'd think this was our first rodeo with the overreacting to every result though.

Ultimately we've not spent a bean in nearly 4years now. The new owners need to dig deep and bring in a striker who looks arsed, and some pace at full back and out wide.

If us dropping into the bottom 3 makes them realise we can't coast the summer then so be it.
It may not be our first rodeo but this time we have a manager and several players who know they won't be here next season.
That is a recipe for disaster, the fact that we have survived before means nothing this season

look how many bodies they have forward though, look at how they press. You cannot tell me that our team would not see a significant improvement if we implemented this mindset. We are actively coached backwards, you can’t convince me that it’s a professional’s instinct to hoof it long at every opportunity. Dyche is the single biggest factor as to why we’re underperforming. It doesn’t help that our injuries are always for ages, it’s never just one or two weeks. Where tf is McNeil? There’s no clarity

Ive been saying for a while we need to get McKenna in if we want a young manager.

Totally different vibe.

Indeed. Factored all that in when i said I'd take 17th before a ball was kicked, and mentioned it repeatedly since.

My point is people saying we're down because Ipswich were winning. Steady on.

It’s barely into the new year and we’re basically celebrating a Fulham goal like it’s a derby day winner . It’s shameful what’s happened to us
Yes every season doom scrolling the bottom feeder results, hoping for this or that. Its insulting to Everton. We need our pride back and that starts with binning baldy coot.

This is another compelling reason for immediate change.

I just can't see - given the results, morale, and dire straits we find ourselves in - that Dyche survives the next week.

In the last 4 years we have loaned around 16 players, all worth in excess of 400million and bought roughly 250million worth of players.

So to say we havent spent a bean is wrong.
