The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Was he the one we didn't want?

Yes, interviewed him in late 2019 and then in January 2022.

My gut feeling was always would've gone down with him mid season in 21/22 but his record at Wolves is near enough as good as Moyes here so I'm probably doing him a disservice and he'd have got the team safer quicker than Lampard leaving to the last minute.

Interested how Wolves get on for first few months of next season though given they sell key players without trying to replace them effectively.

No offence mate, but this is a truly mad post.

Ipswich next three games are against Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle, do you honestly think they`re going to win any of them, let alone the rest of their fixtures and we`re going to lose every single one ours ??????

LOL.

Our December and April fixtures gave us all concern but I think we’ve done brilliantly navigating them. I feel we can compete with anyone. And we’re getting healthy at the right time just as other clubs are dealing with fatigue and injuries.
Also have alot players who will be trying to impress doucoure harrison mcneil alcaraz ect. Trying to get new deals here or in mcneils case impress a new manager having been out for a long time. Adding that into the final games of goodison with us fans and players all wanting to enf on a win

I’m curious how Moyes sets us up now that he’s got everyone back. I’d think McNeil starts on left. Will he shift Ndiaye more central? Hopefully. Then I wonder what he does on the right wing. Does he continue to invest time with Jesper or Harrison? Moyes rates Jack but I feel he needs to go back home. A right wing should be a priority for us.
