We need a settled back line, and as has been said, 3 in midfield.

I dont disagree David, I said the other day, we have recruited for a 4 3 3, McNeil, Onana, Gana,Tarks, the only ? is Coady, who has MOSTLY played in a back 3.

Near the end of last season we started using a back 3, the first 2 games this season a back 3. I dont want us to play a back 3, I just think we will.

I also dont think its the Armageddon most do, thats all.

I dunno about demerit, I think hes fully behind the idea myself, the system isnt bad, once you have the right players doing it.
Gordon will sadly be a business decision many grades above his pay grade
Im fairly sure he also wants a striker

Rationalise it all you want.

Throw other people under the bus for him all you want.

The Gordon situation will prove toxic for him.

He's going to alienate a lot of people he can ill afford to alienate.

It really is obvious. There is simply no need to play such a cack formation. It’s a choice being made by Lampard, and we are really going to struggle if he doesn’t change it.

Usually if something seems to have a simple and obvious solution, you don't understand the complexity of the problem.

Sure the midfield is weak and that's why we've bought one and been linked to more, but it wont suddenly make our wingers prolific.
