….Nitty Nora. I remember having nits as a kid;
I use to do a Monday to Saturday round then swopped it for a Sunday round as you got nearly as much for the one day as you did all week but it was hard as you quite often got 3 papers to a house .
I remember while I was doing the papers the birth of the Sun which was previously called the Daily Herrald

I remember the ha'penny tray, used to be able to get three sweets, usually blackjacks or fruit salads. I used to dream of being able to afford the penny tray !
